Do you understand the PBSA operating model?

What if the student has left or stopped responding?

This commonly occurs around term breaks or at the end of a tenancy. When contact details change or communication drops off, tracing can be used to confirm current information before deciding how to progress the case.

Can arrears from previous academic years still be referred?

Yes. Rent arrears can usually be recovered up to six years from the date payment became due. Older cases can be reviewed to confirm eligibility and the appropriate next steps.
