Legal Executive

The role of a Legal Executive at Redwood Collections Ltd is to manage a diary of legal cases. Our legal cases are outstanding debts referred to the company for collection by our clients, which have failed to repay as requested and our client has agreed to issue county court or insolvency action.

Client management
To build and maintain good business relations with the clients in your portfolio, keeping them up to date on the progress of their cases, answering their ad hoc queries as they arise and seeking information as it becomes needed during the legal process. Your clients will have direct lines of communication with you by telephone and email.

Liaison with panel solicitors, insolvency practitioners
A major part of the Legal Executive’s role is good relations and communication with our panel of legal service providers across all forms of civil litigation, including defendant claims, enforcement, and insolvency. Effective communication between service providers, Redwood Collections and our clients is essential for our clients’ satisfaction and promoting positive results.

Accurate fee charging
Redwood Collections Ltd offers many ancillary services in addition to our standard collection service, notably legal actions which come at cost to the client. During the progress of legal cases fees will become due and these must be correctly charged to our clients’ accounts and explained accordingly.

As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing and developing talented individuals, Redwood Collections Ltd have a fixed training regime, ensuring all employees are provided with the knowledge and understanding to excel within their role.

We dedicate at least one hour per week to formal training, as well as learning on an ad-hoc ‘shadowing’ basis.

The training is carried out with various members of the senior Management team, allowing successful candidates the best possible opportunity to succeed and build a lasting career with Redwood Collections Ltd.

This position is conditional, subject to a six-month probationary period, where training will be provided throughout and progress meetings to help you develop within the role.
